BIM and NZEB for Workers inform you of the BIM methodology used during NZEB project design and construction, enabling the process to be speeded up. Collaborative communication using BIM and other digital tools on site between the design team and construction team is essential. Knowledge of NZEB will help you recognise the parameters which you should pay more attention to and use effectively on site. This learning is aimed at construction workers/trades (EQF 4-5) but is equally relevant to site managers/supervisors and professionals.
The Objectives are to:
- Carry out communication between design and construction teams.
- Use the BIM methodology on site to apply problem-solving workflow.
- Evaluate the situation and apply the necessary prior actions to prevent setbacks using BIM methodology.
- Understand and apply the NZEB principles on site.
